Provident Numismatic Authentication (PNA) is the first-ever coin grading, conservation and preservation company exclusively tailored to ancient coinage. Founded by Alex Masella, PNA brings together numismatic assessment, presentation and the care of collections.
Its illustrated labels place historical imagery alongside the information recorded for each coin. The examples below show how the capsule and tag form a single presentation, with the coin itself remaining the centre of attention.

Alex Masella · Founder
Alex Masella combines professional numismatic experience with a background in visual communication. According to his published biography, he spent more than a decade as a grader and numismatist at NGC, where he directed the tokens and medals department and worked on research, attribution, authentication and grading.
His interests in conservation, photography and historically inspired label design helped shape Provident’s approach to presenting and documenting collectible objects.
